The province of Villa Clara will host the National History Congress from December 4 to 7, an event that will take place for the first time in the territory and will meet in three Cuban cities: Santa Clara, Remedios and Sagua la Grande.
Jorge Luis Aneiro Alonso, national president of the Union of Historians of Cuba and director of the Office of Historical Affairs of the Presidency of the Republic, referred to the results exhibited by Villa Clara and make it worthy of hosting the most important event in Cuban historians.
Aneiro Alonso also said that a total of 80 papers will be presented at the National History Congress, which will be chosen by a National Admission Committee.
