Havana, July 8 (ACN) The Information Technology, Automation, Communications, and Metrology Company (Tecnomática), part of the Cuba-Petroleum Union (CUPET), is holding the National Information Technology, Automation, Communications, and Metrology Event of the Cuba-Petroleum Union (ENIAC), merged with Tecnociencias.
The second day of the event will feature lectures on industrial automation and metrology, as well as presentations of projects related to automation, safety, measurements, and calibration.
They will feature a keynote address on current Industry 4.0 trends and the specific challenges facing Cuba, covering topics such as digital tools, artificial intelligence, robotics, and how these technologies can be implemented in Cuban companies to enhance their competitiveness in the international market.
During the first session, held this Monday, numerous innovative projects and papers were presented, both by Tecnomática and other companies in the Cuba-Petroleum Union (CUPET).
Among the topics covered were the marketing of liquefied and manufactured gas, artificial intelligence, process digitization, addressing public complaints, and the automation of sales processes.
