The 9 de Abril Salina Base Business Unit in Sagua la Grande has been working since the first days of the year that has just begun, to once again exceed its productive commitments for 2024 and also carry out new investment projects.
This was explained by Mario Larrondo Castañeda, General Director of the Salina en Isabela de Sagua, who added that, to achieve these aspirations, they are driven by the fact that in 2023 they produced values ??amounting to 6,000,236 pesos, of the 4,000,054 thousand planned. that is, 153.8 percent of what was planned.
He added that for this current year the assigned plan is higher than the previous one, as it amounts to 5,000,004 thousand pesos, which does not constitute any concern, since there are conditions and desires to work both to meet that goal and to exceed it. .
He said that the main production lines will remain: Seasoned Salt, Fine Salt in one-kilogram bags for social consumption, Medicinal Mud and Mineralized Salt for animal consumption.
