Relevant contributions of the UNESCO Chair at the Villa Clara Medical University

The UNESCO Chair of the Villa Clara Medical University, recently created, promotes notable projects and initiatives to strengthen the links of this house of high studies with other international institutions, in pursuit of meeting the Millennium Goals with central ideas such as integration, sustainability , peace, respect for human beings, environmental protection, health, equality, and well-being, among other universal precepts.
Professor Helgat Prause-Schiffers, who teaches Spanish and French Languages at an Institute near Dormundt, in Northern Germany, holds important exchanges this week with the management of the center, teachers and students to strengthen ties that promote the consolidation of cordial and collaborative relationships on issues that interest young people such as traditions, history, holidays, sustainability, the use of renewable energy sources, to name a few.
Professor and Doctor of Science Daniel Bulgado, promoter of UNESCO projects twenty years ago, first at the Ernesto Che Guevara Vocational Pre-University Institute of Exact Sciences, and now at the Medical University, is firmly convinced of the mutual contributions that can be generated This collaboration, which also includes the preparation of Master’s and Doctorate courses where students from Latin America and Europe can participate.
During the day, exchanges were held with students of the CytoHistoPathology specialty belonging to the Faculty of Technology-Nursing, with notable impacts and acceptance for professors and students, and according to Doctor Félix López Fundora, vice-rector of the institution, this Chair can contribute to the effort to train more comprehensive, humanistic and prepared professionals in accordance with what the world currently demands.
