Convened by the Citma subdelegation for the Environment in Villa Clara, the award, in the story event, went to Cynthia González Herrera, a ninth-grade student at ESBU Fe del Valle (Secondary School), from Santa Clara city.
The award in poetry went to Melany Cruz Buedo, from Centro Provincial para la Enseñanza Artística, while in visual arts it was received by sisters Camila S. Secades Barreda and Keira S. Secades Barreda who are in fourth and fifth grades, respectively, at Olga Alonso Elementary School, from the province capital, Santa Clara.

Dr. María del Carmen Velasco Gómez, at the head of Citma in the territory, master Lourdes Castelo Valdés, subdelegate for the Environment, and Regla Dayamí Armenteros Mesa, territorial delegate for Tourism, delivered the badges as part of a special morning developed by June 5, World Environment Day.
