Summary:
The research arises from a need of the CUM, the Municipal Administration Council and the tourism managers in the northern keys of Villa Clara, to develop and expand the range of ecological tourism products in the area, and to exploit existing resources. and they are not used for local development and the enhancement and maintenance of autochthonous traditions unique in the world. The objective of this research is to propose the creation of an authentic, competitive, ecological and sustainable tourism product in the Dolores de Caibarien Popular Council. The methods, in which the research will be supported in a complemented way, are those of theoretical and empirical level. The investigation is of great relevance taking into account that the local development of tourism can play a very important role in the social, economic and cultural development of the municipality by constituting an authentic and sustainable offer to provide without dependence on other tourist products, capable of sustaining a commercialization and exploitation process without degradation of the environment, nor of its tourist quality. Through this project, the Dolores Popular Council would consolidate itself as an effective tourist product. According to the specialists consulted, the proposal is affordable, effective and pertinent.
