Summary
The Life Task arises in compliance with the Cuban State Plan to confront climate change and constitutes a comprehensive proposal, in which an identification of prioritized areas and places, their affectations and the actions to be undertaken are presented, constituting the most novel of legislations. in force in environmental matters. The objective of this investigation is to evaluate the current situation in the Industrial Fishing Company of Caibarien (EPICAI), which allows the implementation of the Tarea Vida program, in said entity. Tools were used such as: the expert method, cause and effect diagram or Ishikawa; among others, determining the main deficiencies that limit the implementation of the Tarea Vida program in EPICAI. The proposed actions are aimed at achieving the implementation of the Tarea Vida program at EPICAI, contributing to counteract the effects of climate change, allowing the recovery of marine ecosystems, as well as environmental risks and vulnerabilities.
