Summary
According to studies carried out in the province of Villa Clara, there is a need to establish mechanisms that contribute to companies working in an organized manner and with a scientific basis in environmental sustainability, as part of their social responsibility. The The research focuses on environmental problems in a group of prioritized companies in the Villa Clara province, in sectors linked to multiple chains that contribute to the development of the country. A comprehensive strategy has been designed that promotes the strengthening of environmental management in these entities that includes 4 stages: Identification of the level of corporate environmental management, the development of a training strategy based on the results of the diagnosis in online and face-to-face modality, the development of face-to-face workshops for the presentation and follow-up and the presentation of documentation for the EMS certification, the above allows companies to acquire their knowledge and prepare their documents in a phased manner. The strategy, based on ISO 14001 of 2015, is characterized by the precise definition of the components of the environmental dimension to be considered in the training process, as well as a set of indicators that have as a novelty the consideration of the Circular Economy.
