Summary
The Bachelor of Education. Pedagogy-Psychology in Cuba trains a professional who has among his modes of professional action: the direction of the educational process, advice to directors and teachers of different educational institutions, educational research and educational guidance to students, families and the community. This paper proposes contents for their environmental training that take into account environmental contents and modes of professional action. It is the result of a process of systematizing the author’s experiences, for eight years. The particularities of the student’s environmental training are shown. Which takes into account the modes of professional action, when preparing it to develop environmental education so that it manages to harmonize the relationships of men and of these with the rest of the environment and guides the social and cultural processes towards sustainable development and the achievement of a higher quality of life. Among its particularities are: a value system that determines responsibility in the face of environmental influences, theoretical and methodological knowledge about man’s relationship with the environment, and the ability to design, plan, and execute prevention, guidance, and advisory activities that take into account account environmental.
