Knowledge management in the fight against climate change is characterized as a resource that all organizations have and that meets a set of requirements that make it especially interesting. It can be managed in different ways, which is why it constitutes a strategic asset. However, it is necessary to promote the development of local capacities for the search for scientific-technological solutions to the environmental priorities of the territory, which clearly shows the need to contribute to better information on the state of the environment in its connection with the socio-economic sectors, their resilience capacity and perspectives, focused on sustainable development. To mitigate this problem, it is necessary to encourage the creation and application of technical scientific projects aimed at protecting the environment and confronting climate change. Based on this interest, alternatives for the creation of projects are proposed for the adoption of mitigation and adaptation measures that reduce the adverse impacts of climate change on the environment, ecosystems, natural resources, prioritized economic sectors and human well-being. to guarantee the sustainable development of Villa Clara.
