Havana, Oct 12 (Prensa Latina) The Center for Medical-Surgical Research and the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology demonstrated the efficacy and safety of recombinant human interferon alpha 2B, a drug used today in Cuba as a prophylaxis to face Covid-19 .
This intranasally administered drug was applied to patients on the hemodialysis program, and its results were published in the Journal of Renal Endocrinology.
