After consolidating itself as the technological support of several health programs in Cuba, the laboratories of the SUMA Ultramicroanalytic System arrive in Venezuela to speed up the diagnosis of malignant tumors and infections.
Yailín Pan Rodríguez, head of the SUMA laboratory at the “Salvador Allende” Comprehensive Health Center, informed Radio Rebelde that these services help in the early detection of diseases such as Hepatitis B and C, Dengue, prostate cancer, as well as diseases kidney.
She also explained that, this technology uses small volumes of samples and reagents, making its use economically sustainable, as well as providing an accurate diagnosis.
It is expected that in the coming years the impact of SUMA technology will be positive for Venezuela, especially in the control of non-communicable diseases and other malignant pathologies.
