The improvement in the forecast effectiveness enriched by 91.7% certainty in all the predictions issued—constitutes a positive result of the Villa Clara Provincial Meteorological Center.Ismabel María Domínguez Hurtado, deputy technical director of the entity, explained that the work on early warning systems was perfected, which positively influences the protection of the territory’s goods and services.The center maintains the agrometeorological service for drought monitoring through the implementation of new climate forecasts in 2023. Which are aimed to the precipitation distribution of one of the indicators that most affects the economy, especially agriculture.
