Havana, August 9 (ACN) The Cuban Society for the Promotion of Renewable Energy Sources and Environmental Respect (Cubasolar) reiterated in Havana the call for its 2nd National Competition on the use of these sources in local and community spaces.
Alois Arencibia Aruca, a master’s degree holder and director of the group, announced that participation in the competition is open to municipalities that demonstrate positive results in the energy transition, based on the implementation of policies, strategic lines, and programs.
Also in its Technical Solutions with at least three years of continuous operation, Specialized Education, and Promotion and dissemination through mass media and social networks, Arencibia Aruca added in his information to the Cuban News Agency.
He specified that proposals in this regard will be received until November 19, when Cubasolar will celebrate its 31st anniversary of its founding. The results will be announced on December 2 at the Cuban Association of the United Nations (ACNU), and the awards will be presented at its 16th International Workshop in 2026.
